Kitson – "Arsenal are amazing!" Accolades abound!

Royals striker astounded with quality of Gunners squad.

Reading's Dave Kitson was amazed at the quality of the Arsenal players following Monday night's 3-1 loss at the Madejski Stadium.

After reflecting on the visitor's performance, Kitson has labelled the ability of the youngsters as 'magic', and admits it would be a shame if they did not secure trophies this season.

"It's absolutely phenomenal stuff," he said "It's just magic, it is unbelievable".

"What I would say about Arsenal is they are not reliant on one, two, three even four people. They all kind of chip in. Even for a Tottenham fan like myself to say this is blasphemy but you hope that a team who play as well as that win something."

"With the last team Arsene Wenger put together they won two doubles, which is a frightening thing to do anyway."

Welcome From HC Quiz Team Captain

Have been persuaded to join up for what I hope is a useful experience and meaningfull in cyber communications! Unfortunately, the Quiz Team were not able to emulate the performance of the Glorious Gunners (7 - 0 to the Arsenal!), last night. In a close contest we went doxn 51 to 49 to the Garland and then were denied victory in the Beer Round by the parsimony of our visitors, refusing to accept one of our answers on a technicality. They obviously could not afford to buy us a drink and we had to settle for a disputed draw. Thank goodness we don't have to play them every week!

Redhill District Quiz League Season 2007/08

The Home Cottage quiz team scored a good opening victory away (40-54) to the the Queens Head of Nutfield last night (16/10/07) in the first match of the season. This piece is posted on behalf of the captain Bob Dunn who is not a contributor on the blog site yet.

Why is John O'Connor listed as the Artic fox (instead of the Arctic wolf)? Is this a joke from the area of the Duckpond?

What's all this talk about rugby union-the match of great importance on Saturday 20-Oct is Blackpool v Palace in the Championship!

Good website Paddy.
